We accommodate all types of ownership at Whitcoombe House Stables.
Sole Ownership
We can source you your own racehorse, either from any available horses for sale in the yard or from any of the appropriate auctions. All budgets catered for and you have the chance to use your own racing colours and often choose a name for the horse.
Joint Ownership
You can take a share in any of the horses currently available.
Partnerships / Syndicates
Either you can form your own partnership in any horse that is made available/purchased for you. Up to 12 members can be involved to share the cost and share the fun and the prizemoney. We help with all registrations required by Weatherbys Administration.
Or you can join in on one or two ready made partnerships that we run here, subject to shares being available. 10% shares upwards. Costs can be met monthly by direct debit or upfront for 12 months via an all inclusive fee.

WHAT OUR OWNERS SAY
“We have had several horses with Jonathan for many years and can say without hesitation that each one has been given individual care and assessment very professionally, diligently and honestly. He seems to get the best from his horses, however limited or highly strung they may be and is well supported by some friendly and efficient staff.”
Prof Chris Green
“I joined Jonny with a share in a small syndicate in 2000 and have been with his stable ever since with several of my own horses, from Listed winners to little winners. I was looking for a trainer who could manage my expectations efficiently and honestly, give me some fun and point me in the direction of a winning bet every now and then. He has done all that and more and I am just surprised not more better known owners haven’t cottoned on to his skills yet!”
Mark Vandenberghe
“Jonny calls me one of his lucky owners but he has made my luck. I have been a syndicate member with him since 1998 and part of several winning and successful horses, from Wolverhampton to Woodbine. He loves his horses and looks after them and all the syndicate members well.”
